l am in the market for a good used foreign car with 50,000 miles and preferably a four-cylinder. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Toyota

Mid to late 90 is Toyota Celica. Not fast at all, but gets extremely good gas mileage, and are well known to still run far past 200,000 miles. Civics are the next best choice, but even with excellent lifespan, it is still not reportedly as far as the Celicas.

A Toyota would be the best choice probably, the Corolla is a really good car.
I'd normally say Honda but it is hard to find a used Honda under $10k with only 50k miles, but if you can get your hands on a Civic or an Accord at that price and miles I'd go for it, especially since Honda is seem to last forever when taken care of.

I'd say the Accord l own a '97 accord ex and it has not caused any problem and its 145k miles on it. Try and get the accord prefebly the ex trim it has all the features of a luxury car
