So l just graduated and am starting college and in need of a car fairly quickly. l only have just under 2k but am currently working and trying to save up money. Any suggestions or where to look for a car with no credit??

Make sure it is Japanese. Not kidding.

l would look on craigslist, cars.com, autotrader.com or maybe even ebay motors but under craigslist they always have good cars

First suggestion: To help u build credit, put ur saved money into a savings account. Take a loan out against ur savings (they hold ur money in case u miss a payment). You will get a lower interest rate since they already have ur money (it is still yours though). As u pay off the loan, ur money in savings becomes available to u (use it for repairs or save it).

This was how l purchased my first car & it has given me great credit. l have purchased many cars since by doing this & l highly recommend it.

Places to look: autotrader.com , check out banks for repose (your loan bank might have a good selection) , & just drive around & look (be sure to do price checking at kbb.com before buying).

Good cheap cars: Saturns (DOHC only), Civics, & Toyota Echo.
