ok so l have recently posted a few questions asking what people thought about me (16 year old) getting a 2005 Pontiac GTO. Unfortunately l received alot of negative feedback about that . So l wantedto get a few opinions on what kind of car l should get as my first im looking for a decent amount of power and l am look forward to doing a little bit of upgrading funding is not really an issue so any suggestions will be taken into deep consideration.

l am sorry you got negative comments. Maybe people should've posted the positive sides also.
So l am a little younger than you but l think l know a little something about cars. The Pontiac sounds good and has nice power. If it is in your budget then, yeah. Go for it!

because the Pontiac is a 2005 model that means that it is not as up to date as many cars as in today. For example with gas prices going up there is a big crisis over buying hybrid cars that have a very high mpg. l would recommend for u (a 16 year old that would probably want to go out & drive a lot) a Honda Civic sedan. This model is very fuel efficient car that l think u can get to a lot of places & do more things while paying less for gas. This model also has a very nice sleek design that teenagers will love.

Ya l agree with the other guy if you want a GTO, and you can afford it without putting yourself in thousands of dollars in debt do it. Its all up to you if you act a fool in it and end up dying. l would also consider a Nissan 350Z since its a well rounded car for around $20,000. its got all the power a teenager should be entrusted with for a first car.plus if you get use to its power and your still alive you can easily put on a turbo for a reasonable amount. Hoped that help

If you want the GTO, go ahead. My first car was a POS and l eventually totaled it. If you want to spend the money, make sure you act responsibly and it should last you a long time.
