l am still paying on a truck that l do not use. How can l sell it? I am sure the buyer will want a title at that time and l wo not be able to give them one until l can pay off the finance company......

sign the title over to them.. notify the bank of a new owner and do the paper work required and get ur money from them

Let them know you have to pay off the vehicle to get the title..or check into them taking over payments via getting their own financing through the same place you have it financed.

sell it so you have enough to pay the finance company. once u pay them they will send the title to you. Make an arrangement with the buyer to deliver the title within a reasonable amount of time. Have it notarized just in case you have to go to court.

by getting someont to take over the payment, with a loan for the car

Once u have sold the car & received payment & r delivering the car u should both (buyer & seller) sign a sales agreement that states that u will be getting them the title by a certain date. In order to facilitate this call the lender & ask how long it takes to process a lien pay off & receive a title & ask them how to do this the fastest.

You do not have to keep the car but u will need to keep the insurance on it until u r sure that it is transferred completely.

Do not take a check for the car unless u can go to the bank with them & make sure that u can cash it- there r too many fraudulent buyers out there!
