Probably around $10k. Do not expect too much because SUVs are not selling now.

good luck--NOBODY wants an SUV. auto sales are way down. the last thing they want is more inventory, especially not SUVs. try selling it as scrap metal.

The dealership will likely give u no more than $8,000 for a $12,000 SUV. Dealerships generally only give about 1/2 & no more than 3/4 the trade-in value of the vehicle. l would definitely sell it private party, then add the money to ur current car account to buy a newer vehicle.

Or, if you're like me, & u only have one vehicle at the time, u wait until u can afford the vehicle u want with either cash or a bank loan, then go & buy it. Then, u sell ur old vehicle private-party & use the cash from that to pay of the loan for ur new vehicle.
