That is easy. I'd definitely go for the Suzuki. It offers All-Wheel Drive, plus comes with more standard equipment & costs less than the Honda. The Honda offers a little bit more interior room, & it gets better gas mileage, but the Suzuki looks better (in my opinion), & is supposed to be more fun to drive. It also has more horsepower & a much better warranty, plus the ability to customize it straight from the dealership. Unless u absolutely need good gas mileage, I'd go for the Suzuki. And if u r after gas mileage, look at a Volkswagen with one of their turbodiesel engines, which r good for up to 52 miles per gallon on the highway in a Beetle, far more than the Honda is 38 miles per gallon.

The above models r all good competitors in this segment. If l had to narrow it down, l would say the best cars in this category would be the Suzuki, the Ford, & the Kia. They've got the most style, best option packages, & lowest prices in this category. If you're worried about reliability, the Kia & Suzuki ranked up near the top, along with the Honda & Toyota, and, while the Ford has not been tested that long yet, other Ford products have made a comeback in reliability (the Ford Fusion & Mercury Milan tied for the most reliable vehicle in the United States for 2006 & 2007), so the Fiesta should be a safe bet. l did not list the Volkswagen turbodiesels (Beetle, Jetta, Rabbit) l mentioned above because they're in a higher price/size category with cars like the Ford Focus, Honda Civic, & Toyota Corolla.

The honda will give you a better ride and less mechanical issues, but the suzuki is more bang for the buck. l guess it all depends on what you like, but i'd go with the fit because l know honda makes good cars. Nothing against the suzuki it is just unproven in the long run.

The Fit is a better vehicle, but l can see why u would be tempted to go for the SX-4.

Looks is all subjective. l like the Fit better, but the SX-4 is like a mini-Matrix & it is not ugly.

Price will be about the same. You get more for the price on the SX-4, but the Fit will retain its resale value better over the next 5 years (in case u sell ur car within 5 years).

Performance - about the same. Both r pretty slow & more known for their utility/economy than they punch. The Fit will get better gas mileage (28 mpg overall vs. 24 mpg for the SX-4 AWD).

Reliability & Resale - The Fit by a longshot, here.

Overall, l would choose the Fit.

If AWD is important to you, l would suggest getting the Subaru Impreza instead of the SX-4. It has a much better AWD system, better reliability, better resale, & is cheaper to maintain.

You get what u pay for & it is better to pay a little more now than a lot more later.
