i'm selling my car, but l still owe on it.i'm asking the pay off amount.how do l go about this?

Its according on how you plan to sell the vehicle. Most of the time you can just advertise it for the price you owe,and if it sells then you pay it off and when you receive the title you sign it over to the new owner. this will take a little communication with you and the buyer,but if you let them know up front that all you want is pay off they will be more likely to work with you.

When you find a buyer, you will both go to your bank with the
cashiers check, payoff the amount owed to your bank, once
that check clears, they release the title to the new owner.
